Ranger Help!
I am not very experienced with my ranger yet. My goal is to get him to PvP. I want to be able to use traps with him. Does anyone have a good skill build they're willing to share? I am a Necro/Ranger. How should I distribute my attributes to make it a good Trapping Ranger while taking advantage of the necromancer side? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about the necro side...but this is how I go into the Underworld
Expertise 13 Wilderness 13 Healing 10 Marksmanship 7(this really doesn't matter you most likely won't meet your bows requirements unless you have a super low req bow) Pack the follow Skills Barbed Trap Dust Trap Flame Trap (spiked trap if you have it...I don't even use it though) Throw Dirt Serpents Quickness (OR Quickening Zephyr & Energizing Winds) Whirling Defense Dodge(if you brought Serpents Quickness you can fill the 8 slot with this) |

No problem
remember that dust trap has the longest recharge time I normally drop barbed trap...dust trap...cast serpents quickness...flame trap by this time dust is almost fully recharged you might also want to look into getting a set of Druids armor(for trapping) and a protective icon + staff weapon set. with my protective icon + staff + druids armor I have a little over 50 energy with a -1 regen. |

Unless you have a skill that helps regen your energy..if you do pack that. Dust Trap costs 25 energy - I drop it for 17 Flame Trap Costs 10 Energy - I drop it for 4 Barbed Trap costs 15 energy - I drop it for 8 Expertise lowers the cost of energy for skills for rangers. as a necro you'll already have high energy so it might not be a problem...but you're gonna be spending full energy cost for each drop. |
