Necro Weapon - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering what the best weapon for a necro is... I need a one handed cane or staff that gives a lot to energy and for the secondary sheild item I also need something that gives high to energy. Is there any weapons like, a fiery dragon sword for a warrior, but for a necro? My character is a N/Me. I have only been playing this game for about a week. I'm still learning. Any tips will help greatly thanks.

You'll only find weapons with bonuses you want to use in the cane and stave lines.

As an n/me you'll generally want to be at range anyway, so a staff or wand makes sense. Personally I've always had a hard time finding decent canes early game.

The game WILL give you something good to use as a cane or staff. It'll come in time and prob around the Shiverpeaks but I've played 3 characters and each time, i would find something to get me through the next mission.

As a weapong for a necro, the (and I have no idea how to spell it but you get one in the begining of Pre-Searing) Truchadon is personally my favorite. I had a Mesmer/Necro befroe he became a Me/W and he used a Truchadon till the Wilds. In the end game, you can find one from a collector in the Desert, a nice one.

It is rare that you'll find a cane with energy. I think i found one once with like 3 but I'm not sure. If I did, I sold it lol.
