I played guild wars for about a month and got to be level 11. I don't really know what to do now. In Piken sqare the monsters i kill give me 0 xp and i have never PVP'd before. I would just like some random information on things i could do from here.

Go back to Ascalon and talk to Sir Tydus if you haven't yet. After a few quests, he will give you "The Great Northern Wall," which is the first mission. The missions are the main attraction in PvE so to speak, they advance the storyline and get you to new places with new quests and more missions.

How do i PVP?

Going to certain towns/outposts will give you ESSENTIAL missions to progress through the game (I say essential, because without doing these in some cases means you cannot progress ANY further). When you enter these, below your party names will be a button saying enter mission - click here and you're away!

To PvP, you would have gone to the Ascalon Arena by talking to the Arena Guard. But, the maximum level for that arena is level 10, so you'll need to wait to get to the next, level 15, arena before you can use your current character.

Firstly you don't get EXP from monsters which are 5 lvls below you, since they are too easy to kill, I often go charr hide hunting in that area alone since it so easy.

So you need to fight harder mobs. From where you are you should complete all quests given to you from Piken's Square, also if you have done the mission "Ruin' of Sumaria" then that will take you to the find mission of ascalon area.

Basically if you stuck, complete quests and go to next mission area to move on to new areas in the game.

It seems i am kind of blind traveling. there is no green arrow anymore. any tips?

btw its ascalon arena till lvl 10
gladiators till lvl 15 then the other ones i'm forgetting

After level 15, you have the Competition Arenas in Lion's Arch, and the Team Arenas in Droknar's Forge. Both are open to level 20.
