i am not asking anything, i just wanted to know if there can be done anything about it but as some of you allready said it's a fair trade no rules have been broken so then there is no problem. It's like i am the bad guy here. I just asked some questions.

I did have a case of someone calling someone out as a scammer, but I said I would check it out for myself. It was to run my elementalist to Droknar's. As soon as we went out into lornars, this dude took me.... alone.... and wanted half the money. I told him I would give it to him when we reached snakes. He said no, so I said bye and told him you were indeed a scammer. I then put them on ignore. So you just have to be very careful. There are a lot of good players out there, so I hope you don't feel too jaded about the game over this. |

I've encountered some scammers out there. A few times when trading, the other person would put a different item from what I offered to buy from them and sometimes the item would look exactly like another item but with a different name. These scammers don't know they're dealing with a veteran GW player. Every time when I point out to the mistake, they always have the same excuse, "Opps, sorry wrong item." These guys make me laugh.
I remember one time when I was selling silver dye for 650g. This one monk wanted to buy it from me. So I offered the dye to her, but instead of 650g, she offered 1 plat. I told her it's only for 650g, but she said it was ok and insisted me to take the offer. So I did. So guys, it doesn't hurt to be honest once in a while |

Hey that was nice of them to pay 1k for the dye... and its nice to know theirs some trust worthy people out their :P I have had to deal with a bunch of scammers... so I just decided to not trade with anyone except the people I know, and get my own drops. I've actually been getting better stuff that way

MeXiKaNo,
sorry to hear you got ripped off. There's lots of good people in the game too. Arm yourself with knowledge, it is your only defense as Night alluded to above me. Get to know the basic mechanics and how the various systems work as quick as possible and those losers won't stand a chance against your uber scammer shutdown skills!! |

You should tell that to your grandma when she gets scammed out of $8,000 for double glazing, or a new patio. Tell that to your son at school when his lunch gets "taken" every day for a whole year cos of an "arrangement". Tell that to your wife when she puts some money aside in a pension fund that gets owned by some rouge trader. People get scammed every freaking day and it's 100% AGAINST the law. Some people act like total morons when they get behind a computer I swear. |

Ive gotten scammed at least once per on-line game Ive played. I still remmber the first time is SWG several years ago. Last month I bought pink dye from a punk, that wasnt. Oh well, its just a game. If ppl have to rip others off to make money, feel sorry for them. BTW still looking for the dye combo for pink dye. The coolest space flight sim there ever was, was called Jumpgate. There are players in there called "Grievers". ALl they do is fly arouna killin low level players. Its part of the game and allowed. Be thankful, they arent in here :-) |

Dont look for retribution..it's bad karma, that person will reap what they sew...three fold by the laws of nature. good luck in the future. |
