Best DPS Bow
Hi guys,
I've read alot of information on bowtypes and their different rates of fire and range but my question is which type of bow actually does the most damage over the course of a battle? Secondly i am curious about the elite bows (storm, eternal and shadow), which one of these has the highest dps? and what type of bow is the eternal? (in all the guides iv'e read it is stated that the storm bow is a long bow and the shadow a horn bow but know one seems to know anything about the eternal bow) Sorry if this seems a bit inconcequential but i really want the anser to this question and it saves me another few ours of sifting through data. Cheers for reading and thanks for any help! |

Well, the highest DPS bow is a close range, max. damage Halfmoon or Shortbow. That said, they fire 2 times a second, and are great for close combat situations. Granted, it is not a sword or axe, but it *is* faster than any other bow, as far as the rate of fire. Add a skill that enables you to shoot faster (Quick Shot {E}, Tiger's Fury, Read the Wind) and the DPS is rolls up.
Sorry, don't know anything about the Eternal Bows. I really just stick to a basic longbow (for pulling), a hornbow (so I can be at nominal range, when with a PUG), and a short bow (if I want to be up close in combat). It's kinda moot to use Tiger's Fury with a longbow, however, unless you combine it with Read the Wind. |

As far as Range/Refire, yes, all halfmoons and shortbows are the same. They just have a different name.
