Purpose Past Ascension? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey all,

Since I've ascended and found the FoW/UW I've been having a blast doing the high end content. Is there really anything worthwhile (mission wise/Zone wise) past the crystal desert/ascension? I've been having so much fun in UW/FoW that going back and doing the same old missions seem kinda boring unless theres a real purpose or reward.

Info appreciated.

The only purpose of the PvE side is to finish the game, as well as to unlock all the skills and equipment for use in PvP. If you are having fun and don't wish to continue the missions, have at it, that's what the game is for.

i had the same problem. its hard to get back to missions and skills after assension and underworld, especially for a trapper like me. You just have to decide what it is u want to accomplish, wheter it be finihs teh game, or make lots of money.

There are many useful elite skills in the southern shiverpeaks and fire islands.

After ascension, there are many elite skills you can capture, not to mention some new looking armor in outposts in the southern shiverpeaks.

Have you done the Ring of Fire missions?? They can be pretty tough and there are a ton of elites to cap in perdition rock.

You might want to at least get your last 30 attribute points, as well.
