General Info About Game Please - Guild Wars Forums

I got into one of the last open beta spots for like a day or two, and really never had the chance to experience a whole lot of this game. So I'm hoping some players might be able to help me out with some general info.

I'm coming from World of Warcraft, haven't stopped playing the game but I feel like I need a change of pace, something new. I've heard some good things about this game, and some bad that it becomes boring after a while.

I am really considering buying it, but like most MMOs I like to know a little info from the players, as to what I can expect, what races/professions have their strong/weak points. I know a lot of this info can be found on Guild Wars main website, but it's not always correct, or sort of misleading. Just as an example, Elemenalist may be classified as a power magic class, but sometimes the community feels they are not what they should be.

I'm coming from a game where I don't play, some of the more powerful classes in the game, but i'd just like a general run down of what the classes are actually like (fun factor/power/popularity).

Anyway, i'd really appreciate some replies, or being pointed in the right direction to get this sort of info. Thank you.
