Profession Warrior/Monk?
ok i got 3 basic questions. i also have just but the game so i dont know the lingo...lol
1.) when they ask for my adress...why do the want it?--are they going to send me alot of junk? 2.)--my most important question. Ok for PvE---i was at first thinking warriar/elementalst or ranger--u know to balance my weaknesses--warriors fight up close--elementalist or ranger fight far away.--But then some1 told me this was a ba i dea. IS IT?...so i thought..."maybe i could be a Warrior/Monk"--Is this a good idea? |

1) Your address is just so they know where you live for legal reasons I assume. I've never received any mail from them.
2) W/E is not good for the reasons of doing damage up close and far away, but it still is not a bad mix. Elementalist spells cost lots of energy that your warrior most likely wont have at many times during battle. There are helpful elementalist spells however, that give you extra armor helping to protect you. W/Mo is so common that you might not have as much fun playing it and being the same as 50% of the other players, but who knows. You can always switch your secondary profession later on in the game as many times as you like. My warrior has been through the entire game as W/N and it worked very well. |

anything you want - this game is very open ended, think about what you want to be able to do, sit down read the skills each class has and their descriptions to get the general idea of what each class can do, then decide for yourself.

well for pvp u can go two ways, either warrior monk(best i think) or warrior ele(great for hammer warriors). w/mo are good for dealing descent amounts of damage while staying alive (monk skills include but not limited to: healing hands healing breaze healing reversal of fortune...blah blah) while the w/ele would be pretty much take down a target( ele skills include but not limited to: aftershock, earthquake) to deal massive amounts of damage when u knock them down with ur hammer. i would go with the warrior monk. ya ok so everyone else does it, but whoever sais u wont have fun is a fool. i play my w/mo everyday just about and i love it. so pretty much go with what u think is best. w/ele is good for pvp only pretty much while w/mo is good for everything

I play both Warrior/Monk in PVE and PVP it is not bad especilly when haveing to help out a Monk that is to busy doing something else.I did Warrior/Necro in beta and worked well and in retail I made up a Warrior/Mes.
I suggest that if you are going to use elementalist use one skill and Glyph of lesser energy it may help out.I played that build in PVP during beta of course all the skills were unlocked. |
