Just bought game. Could someone help me, please? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, I just bought this game yesterday, and I'm only level 2. I'm in a guild, but just can't remember the name of it, and the other players aren't that active. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the point of the game, and what to do to enjoy it the most. I have been completing quests and I'm currently in the ruined ascalon city. Any suggestions will help me out. Thank you!

You should remake your character - there is no reason for you to be in ruined ascalon, or presearing, as we all call it, at level TWO. You should sear level five at the minimum - don't you notice the Henchman are higher levels than you? Everything outside of ruined ascalon will eat you alive. There are plenty of quests in Pre-Searing to get you to five and further.
Also, your guild is one of the most important decisions you can make, the game is after all called Guild Wars. You really shouldn't join a guild so fast, just because they invite you doesnt mean thier really good - it's something you should take pride in, because until they let us toggle it (grrrr) you're going to be wearing thier emblem everywhere you go, and you will represent them, and they will represent you.
