Gale
Howcome when i use gale it never actually knocks the people down for 3 seconds... it just knocks them down and they do that lying back jump up right after... i dont see any difference between gale and an ordinary knockdown. gale says it knocks people down for 3 seconds but i can't tell, can you guys?

Ya I always wondered that too. My two guesses are:
1.) Time moves faster for knockdowns (Lame) 2.) The 3 seconds include the time from when they start to fall to all the way when they stand straight back up. |

i was guessing that too, but i mean that would mean an ordinary knockdown would be the same as a gale 3 sec knockdown , THAT SUCKS, plus gale gives exhaustion too...

I think it is a bit longer than the average knockdown but it sure doesn't feel like 3 seconds. For that matter backbreaker doesn't feel like 4.
But on the other hand the cost is low and it comes out fast. |

It starts as soon as the spell hits them, being that it would immediately interrupt their current action. Then they hit the ground, get up and have a period where they cannot move (for about 1 second). So think of it as 1 second for falling to the ground, 1 second to get up then 1 second of standing around looking dumb before they can perform any actions.

the falling and getting up are set "movie clips"(i dont know what you would call them) so they all go at the same speed, usually they stay on the ground, but it all depends on your computer/lag/etc...because you may see them get back up and then do nothing, but i see them on the ground (i always have, i noticed at my friends house that they stood up and were stunned)

wouldnt a normal knockdown still be about the same time as the ''3'' second knockdown though... ya it really doesnt feel like 3 seconds at all...especially when i see monks get hit by it then jump right back up and start healing again...ya the exhustion is really mean to me
