Recruits for Hollis?
Anybody know if the "Recruits for Hollis" quest is active? Looking at the Prima Guide, it lists this quest as being given by Tydus in Ascalon City, but I have yet been unable to unlock it with with a few different professions. I know the guide has flaws, so am wondering if this is one of them, or if the quest has a special unlock to it.
Thanks!! Hanok Odbrook Real Millennium Group Guild http://www.realmillenniumgroup.com/guild.html Truth * Knowledge * Peace |

I am pretty sure you have to do something before it becomes active. Not quite sure what though...

the quest is broken
I have reported the bug to support a month ago but unfortunately still no fix as of yet... They said they would but don't know when but really... does it take that long to fix it? |

How long has it been broken? I recall doing it a week back with my Mo/W.

A week back with Mo/W but not with your current character? I know that's it's not broken for everyone because in some cases, for example, one person can get it while his/her friend cannot and they are doing everything together. But it's not class specific either so I really don't know what's wrong.
I have tried completing the Tydus quests to see if I could get it but that didn't work. Before the bug you could get the quest right after the Northern Wall mission. I don't really know when it got this way, but I'm guessing June 15. Before that update I got it with my N/W, but not with my R/W after that. I asked the same question a month ago here Also Quote:

All my current characters are level 20. The monk was the last character I made.

So you have gotten this quest with all the characters you made after June 15? or is the monk the only character you created after that?

The monk was the only character I created after June 15th, I believe. I had an elementalist, but deleted him.

Yeah like I said, it doesn't affect everyone. Can't really figure out the pattern.
It's really frustrating though. It's not like ANet doesn't support us. In fact it's one of the aspects of the game that makes it so good, but then they can't even fix a lousy little quest. And right now the only thing some of us can do is just wait for a fix. Last edited by Rence; Aug 01, 2005 at 08:32 AM // 08:32.. |
