I can't seem to figure out why, but as of yesterday I can't seem to get above 33 energy with my monk's primary weapon set. When I take off the +12 focus, I go to 30 mana. When I replace it with a +8 energy focus, i have 38. So, my higher energy focus item doesn't give me the full energy, but the lower one does. Does anyone have an idea why it's doing this?

Do you meet the requirements for weilding the +12 focus item? If not, I think you just get reverted to +3 energy from that focus item, though I heard you still get any extra benefits attached to the item.

As long as an item attribute doesn't have a requirement listed next to it in parenthesis, you will get the bonus.
Example:

Energy +12 (req 9 healing prayers)
Energy +15
health +30

If you have only 8 healing prayers, you will get energy+3 (base without req) and 15 from the bonus for a total of 18 energy total. Raise your healing prayers to 9 and you will get 27 energy total.

I had the necessary requirement. I was using the 20/20 collectors protective icon, and i had 16 protection prayers. My mana just went down to 33 while i was in the underworld (It was in the middle of some aatxes, I know I didn't refund). Today as soon as i used an enchantment on myself it went back up to my 42, for no reason as far as I could tell. Maybe it glitched and my attributes hadn't registered?
