Which primary attribute do you like best?
Hi!
My order: 1. Fast Casting 2. Energy Storage 3. Soul Reaping 4. Divine Favor 5. Expertise 6. Strength Fast casting is good. Especially when you're a mesmer facing an elementalist. You cast 3 spells while they're not even finnished with their first. Strength totally sucks. Even with all calculators and math calculating it's still not a BIG difference. |

I personally like Energy Storage, but being a Fire Elementalist, energy storage really doesn't do much since most spells consume large amounts of energy. Where a monk might have 50 or so energy, 25 less than a Ele might have, the monks have more spells that cost 5 energy. It balances out.

2) Divine Favor 3) Energy Storage 4) Fast Casting 5) Strength (For the Skills) 6) Soul Reaping Expertise is the strongest primary attribute in the game, bar none. Nothing else so dramatically effects playstyle and makes Ranger energy management the smoothest running of them all. Divine Favor is what separates Monks from the faux El/Mos, and has a great set of skills. Energy Storage is functional no matter what you use it with, and Strength has a few useful skills. Fast Casting is good but not exceptional. Soul Reaping isn't so much bad but of dubious applicability at times, and totally lacks any skills under it. |

Soul Reaping isn't so bad in PvE, as it does enjoy higher death rates and thus is more useful. In arena battles and suchlike it's far less useful, as you don't nearly have as many creatures dying around you at the time. That's the Necromancer's weakness in a few of their skills, though -- they often rely too much on other players/monsters, dead ones in particular. |

Since I'm a monk I'd have to go with:
1. Divine Favour 2. Energy Storage 3. Expertise 4. Fast Casting 5. Soul Reaping 6. Strength I like energy storage (primarily since monks are always in need of energy )Expertise definitely displays massive amounts of usefulness for my primary ranger...and the rest, well mehhhh.. |

1. all but strength and soul reaping
2 strength and soul reaping. I like all primary attributes, even strenth and soul reaping, even though they sometimes feel a little less useful at times. |

The thing about soul reaping is that it's godly in PvE but useless in PvP.
Expertise is amazing, since as a primary ranger you don't really need to use skills from your secondary class. Fast casting is pretty nice, but I don't know about the other 3 since I don't play primary monk, ele, or warrior. |

This is the order of my liking:
1) Soul Reaping (yes, even for PvP) 2) Expertise 3) Fast Casting 4) Divine Favor 5) Strength 6) Energy Storage I like Soul Reaping a lot. This is how I think of it. Like all the ideas about whether +5 Armor is better than +30 Health. They say that the +5 Armor is better because it always 'works'. Meaning, as long as you take damage, it will be applied. Were as, once you take that 30 damage, that 30 health won't help you out any longer. This is how I see Soul Reaping. The longer the battle lasts, the more useful Soul Reaping is and the less useful Energy Storage is. Granted, if you only put a few points into SR (5 or less) it won't do you much good, but once you put about 8 or more points into SR, you really see a benefit when a body or two falls. I like expertise for the same reason, it will always work for you. Same goes for fast casting and divine favor. Strength I like for the skills. I don't like energy storage much. Yea, you can get about 70+ energy on with average use of it. But, Elementalist skills cost so much and many of them give you exhaustion, it is pretty much useless anyways. Soul Reaping is great, especially in the 8v8 GvG matches, HoH and PvE. |

1) Energy Storage 2) Fast Casting 3) Divine Favor 4) Soul Reaping 5) Expertise (havent really had too long to play around with this) 6) Strength (aside from the skills I see little to no point to this) and thats my list for right now... could change some time later |
