DP and 85/105 HP monks - Guild Wars Forums

I have died a couple times the past couple days from triggering jades. And I have noticed that at 105 and 15 DP I only have 33 HP when I come back. With my 85 set up I only have 16 HP with 15 DP.

Is it a bug or have they "nerfed" this build (or any with 5 superiors) so if you die you have to restart, or hope you can survive with the 33 HPs and heal yourself fast enuff, to get rid of the penalty?

how is it a bug? you take 15% dp every time you die...it doesn't matter that you only have 105 HP

nope its the order stuff is done, always has been

its takes the dp off your total...then subtracts the runes

Ya My bad. I Knew that (redfaced)...I just didn't die a lot. Guess if I die in the future I will switch out my stacked Sup rune to get the 75 HP back and be 108 till I lose the DP.

wait.... "Stacked Sup rune" ? Are you using more than one of the SAME rune? You do know that if you use the same rune more than once, you don't get the bonus, right?

Or, do you mean you have all different Sup runes on your stuff?

He stacks the runes for the health penalty (-75).

Reminds me of a smiting monk in UW whose health is 24 without DP and couldn't be rezzed with Rebirth (cos rebirth doesn't rez at full health. that monk just died immediately after being rezzed.)
