Over the past few days, i have been seeing many people in gladiators armor using axes (mostly chaos axes), and to me this doesnt seem very logical. The whole point of buying 15k glad armor over platemail is for the +7 energy you get. but why would you buy glad armor when like all but 1 or 2 of the axe skills are adren based, therefore making the extra energy kinda pointless and making you lose out on the additional +5 armor platemail offers. AM i getting this wring or are these people just not that bright?

I use gladiator armor because my secondary prof is elementalist. Trust me, it's worth it.

Maybe the guy u saw needed that energy for his 2nd proff. And maybe he didnt even use that many adrenaline skills.

That's why. Warrior skills themselves don't really need much in the way of energy, but if you try and make use of your secondary profession you will notice a significant energy deficiency without an energy boost.

I want to get the Droks galdiator armor so i can use Cyclone axe more often with my w/mo. Granted its not much more, but when you keep mending on every little bit helps.

And considering gladiator's offers 5 more armor against physical, but 5 less armor against elemental, I would say it is on par with platemail for defense, but also has the energy bonus.
