Run path from droknar to thunderhead? - Guild Wars Forums

Question.

Q: I am looking to rush my second character who has reached the wilds, I dont exactly feel like playing another 20-30 hours to get back to the shiverpeaks and ascending, I want to spend my 15k now because I am a horrible money saver and like to spend spend spend.

So I was wondering...... Is there a way to eventually reach thunderhead from droknars? I see people asking for runs to thunderhead all the time in droknars. Most I can possibly think of is maybe some path off from copper mines might take ya there, or is there stops along the way to iron mines or something? cause I have NO idea.

Edit: Im basically just asking for some directions if there are any. NOTE THAT I AM NOT ASKING TO DO THE MISSIONS! THATS WHY I DONT WANNA SPEND 30 HOURS WITH THE MISSIONS! unless I can do iron mines early somehow to get to thunderhead then thats fine, i can do ONE mission

You would run from Droknar's to Copperhammer. From there, you can go north to Granite Citadel, or east to Iron Mines, then south east to Marhan's Grotto. Be careful around there, lots of Mursaat if you're not infused. If you want to go to Thunderhead, just head north from Grotto. The Grotto run from Iron Mines is alot easier than the Citadel run if you're infused.

Ahh, I hope your right, i heard from another source that its impossible cause of one of those big rivers blocking the way.

I ran a guildmate from the Mines to the Grotto, if your armor is infused it's not very hard at all.

The "big river" is probably the one directly between Iron Mines and Thunderhead. That's why you have to travel south and around to reach there.

I don't get the question....Thunderhead is after droknar...ofcourse there is a way to eventually get to Thunderhead after droknar....

Best route is go from Droknar to Mines of Moladune. I suggest doing Moladune mission which will take you right to Thunderhead and you'll be infused to face those Mursaat. From Thunderhead, its straight down to the lower map to Marhan's Grotto. Mines of Moladune is also not far from Copperhammer Mines which from there you can get to Granite Citadel.

The Grotto and Citadel is where you can get the 15k armor.

I said I wanna say screw the missions because MY CHARACTER IS ONLY AT THE WILDS MISSION! IT WILL TAKE ME DAYS TO GET THROUGH THE REST OF THE JUNGLE THEN DESERT THEN ASCENSION!

I got ran to droknars for free, now i am looking for a path to get to marhans WITHOUT THE DARN MISSIONS!

as that guy said, I will have to go to copper, then iron mines, then to marhans, need to see if I can get taken there.

well FYI I also got to droknar before getting past The Wilds where I bought myself 15k armor 60. From there I tried to get 15k armor without doing any missions but found it overwhelmingly hard to get to thunderhead thanks to all the Mursaat. So if you can get someone to run you from iron mines, best of luck to you. I never found anyone interested to run me. However if you do the iron mines just to infusion and then drop from the group, you'll be infused to get past mursaat.

My husband and I ran our lvl 14s from thunder to grotto. We went Droknars to ice caves, ice caves to copper, copper to iron mines, iron mines to thunder then obvisously on to grotto. Gotta say though it took a LONG time. Im not usre if you are thinking of running it (w/mo type) or fighting. We fought. Ive heard its next to impossible to run becasue of all the slow downs and knockdowns and all that. Several W.mo who do drok runs said it was 10x harder and that why noone does it. I wouldnt know Im a Ele

So it maybe actully be faster to do missions assuming u can find some wanting to take a low lvl which well most dont. If ure gonna fight dont expect for it to be fast. I think it took has about 8 hrs for drok to copper (with pit stop in ice caves for dp releif) and expect to die alot. If you cant handle a pick one off and die strat dont try. The longest is drok to copper and then iron to thuder. (I dont mean distance i mean time spent dying running back killing one dying and so forth)
