Questions about servers - Guild Wars Forums

ok ive come up with a problem.. im on europe server now.. but my friend said the america server is alot less laggy for australians.. but most of my friends are in europe... but anyways.. i was wondering if anyone actually knows how many times i can change from american to europe and so forth? i heard you can only do it like twice a week... or something like that, and it resets.. but please i need to know

I think it's a maximum of five times, and then you're locked in whichever server you transferred to on your last try. I may be wrong, but that's what I've heard.

A solution , if you want to meet with your friends use the International servers (which you can choose from the districts button at the bottom of your screen), this way you can meet and play with people on any server.

biffa that would be all and good but... im doing it for lag sake mostly.. but i think maybe after a while ill just switch the the american server.. but i still need confirmations from anyone who knows how many times you can switch?

You have a maximum of 5 swaps. Once you make that 5th swap you will be stuck on the server you ended up with.

As said before, if you want to met up with friends and they are on another server then met in the International Disctrict's. Or just swap server's and use 1 of the 5 allowable swaps to get away from any bad lag and then use the ID to met up with people you knew from the other server. or just stay where you are.
