1.5k armor to 15k armor (Necros)
Being a Necro Primary I just got to forge and there's a lot of armor I could get easily (each piece 1.5k gold) but then I hear about the 15k armor.
Well should I bother getting the 1.5k armor when I can get the 15k later? (save money in other words) or just upgrade now and then later? Also to add to this I don't know what armor to get for my necro.. I've been with the bonelace armor but then there's all the others (The one with having to do with holy damage etc.) And I don't know what's better.. Well as statistic they are pretty much the same. 1 to 1.
15k armors are just for "fashion" |

I would highly recommend taking the droknar's armor, you will need it in the following missions. The 15k armor has the same defense abilities than the one in Droknar's, the only difference is the look.
Unfortunately, I never played necro, so I can't say which one I prefer Good luck. |

Thanks for the info.
Now I need help with the Necros armor.. x.x; Bone lace gives +15 armor (vs. Piercing attacks) Tormentor Reduces protection from holy damage (Kinda confused about that o.o) Fanatic is the same as Bone only different looks Necrotic same as Tormentor only different looks The scar patterns just give a little bit more energy. The Necromancers are just bare. (I mean as in a whole set.) |

I have a necro primary, and I use the Tormentors armor. What it means is that Monks (and nayone dealing holy damage) deal more to you....how much more I have not figured out, but so far it is not more damage than I am sucking out of them so....i think its a wash.
I went with the Tormentors armor because of that "Tie me up and Whip Me" look it has....startign to see more of it now...but for a while it was not "IN" with the masses. |

Whether or not you are into fashion, 15k sets are overrated.
Fissure sets are even more overrated. Example, Fissure warrior sets (except the male helm) are arguably the ugliest warrior armor sets in the game. |

I went with tormentors because it gives you a base AL of 70 instead of 60, and holy damage isn't all that common. And it seems to do about double what it normally would, so watch out for those smiters if you wear it.

I bought Droknar armor mix, one if each set to have all 60 armor. The I bought what I thought was the nicest looking 15k set for show/when helping lower lv people in earlier places where 60 armor makes you pretty well protected from what they can dish out at you.

Hmn what about the bone lace that gives 15+ armor against piercing attacks is it even worth it?
That's what my Necro has (look at avatar) because that's the one I like the most (style) but I'm not sure if the 15+ against piercing is good with the 60AL -Side thought- --- How is damage distributed amongst the armor? Like does some of it do to the feet or and chest or head? Last edited by Detis Zan; Aug 05, 2005 at 12:51 AM // 00:51.. |

15k armor is redesigned armor (looks different) but has same stats as droknar 1,5k armor. Other then the looks, the only other difference is the price... 15,000g per piece PLUS materials which can sink you another few 1000g or so.
