Yes, but make sure that that person is the leader of the group. If not, find out who the leader is and use /invite and their name.

If you invite someone who's not leader, won't it display the leader of the group instead of his name in the party window ?

Whenever you try inviting somoby who has a bigger group then your group it's called inviting yourself. Majority wins.

Sorry if I were not clear. If you invite someone, and that person isn't the party leader; his name is replaced by the name of the party leader.

Example, Bob is in a party, and the party leader is John. If you invite Bob to join his party, the name that will be displayed in your invite list will be John.

Do I make any sense ?

Yeah.. select a person with a number over his head and you can "invite" him in your party!
