Why is the Dye Trader making such a massive profit?

I mean, this kind of price gap encourages player trading, doesn't it? You can't make a significant profit without resorting to player to player trade, and that means crud in the trade channel and player induced inflation. If we could raise the price traders buy our wares at, perhaps some of the inflation will drop?

Just a thought.
