Fame and rank Question - Guild Wars Forums

How much fame = a rank and what is so special about getting ranks- thanks for any help

Rank... I believe, just shows how long you have been playing in the Tombs. The higher your fame, the higher your rank will go, and fame is earned by winning in the tombs.

I personally do not believe in this Rank system. A person may be ranked 3, but the number of times his team lost because of him could be several times more than his number of wins. This Ranking system also gives casual players who can't play as often a hard time in finding a group at the tombs, because "no rank = noob".

Rank 1 = 25 Fame
Rank 2 = 75 Fame
Rank 3 = 180 Fame

Yeah, poor suckers like me are sitting here with 3 fame because I can't get a group that can make it past that King of the Hill map.

oh well,. Just keep on getting more and more fame,. then,. when u are about rank 2 u can gett quite decent groups ^^ not that u maybe will own the hall, but that u can gett some fame every run ^^
