Guild Mergers - Guild Wars Forums

Me and another friend of mine had a quick chat today. We both are Guildmasters of 2 different guilds. Each guild has about 7 people in it. All of us are around the same age, maturity level, and want to start making progresses towards organized PvP and GvG. Our problem is that recruiting is a no-go (since our guilds are not well known, and we are somewhat picky and HATE mass recruiting). We also find that as long as we can't get enough people recruited, we won't be able to put our dusty Guildhalls to full usage.

Since there is no in-game way to merge guilds, I decided to post here. I am not trying to recruit anyone exactly. However, if your guild is a small guild (10-20 people, 10 or less as active members) then I would like to invite you to get in touch with me (Through private messages to me) so we may talk about a possible merger. Me and my friend are hoping to merge at least 4-5 guilds (making 5 small guilds into one 30-35 member guild) into one guild that can begin its movement towards competition in PvP and GvG and also be one made up of people that enjoy the game for what it is, and want to succeed. We want to be able to help other guilds like us become one united force.

We know there is an abundance of very small guilds around, and this invitation is open to -Any- smaller guilds. We plan to discuss the merger first before it takes place, and hopefully we can compensate one another for losses (such as Guildhalls as we become one new guild).

Players who prefer strategy, calmness in battle, are older in maturity level, are of course preferred, but any guild that is interested is welcome. We like teamspeak too.

Again, there will be discussion before any merger begins, at least between Guildmasters, a new guild name will be decided, new Guildmaster voted upon, all previous Guildmasters given Officer status, new cape designs, and finally a new guild hall (with even 20-30 players, 2-3k from each one will easily buy a new hall).

I give you my full support, been there done this and it does help... if both leaders can be orginized about it and have good supportive officers it works great.

We're a clan of about 17 actives atm, we are a tight crew that have known each other for about a year now (we came from a game called Lineage II, where we dominated and owned a castle till we retired the game 2 months ago). Unfortunately we are spread out several time zones. PM me what your plans are.
