Superior Runes - whats their use? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm trying to figure out how a rune that gives you -75 health is a good thing... anyone feel like filling me in on it? Are the 3 points you get really that much worth it?

For the 105 smiting monks, less health is better. For anyone else, 1 superior rune plus a superior vigor can be a nice boost.

Well, to put it simply... yes, in most cases superior runes are worth the health penalty.

As long as you don't pile more than one on (unless you're a smiting monk) that loss of health isn't disasterous.
