I'm sorry, I really had no idea which forum to post this in so I decided that this one was closest to what I was looking for.

Anyways, I find myself in the situation where I have to decide if I want to use either a sundering sword hilt or vampiric hilt. They are both max and I understand that it may depend on my build, but in any case is the +10% really that noticeable? Will the vampiricliness really help me heal much? I'd like to hear any advice or experience on using either of these two types of upgrades.

Thanks in advance, I'd really appreciate any comments.

Sundering is in most cases better in my opinion. Vampiric seems to not help very much for regen on swords, even when you are attacking at full speed. Maybe with hundred blades +mending it would help, but it's not worth it. For a cyclone axe farmer though, vampiric is invaluable. Hope this helps!

Sundering is trash. Vampiric won't heal you for much, but the healing isn't the valuable part - it's the added damage. Do you think that +3 damage all the time is better than +2 damage 10% of the time? Then use Vampiric.

Is this why people don't like Vampiric - because they think it's just for health regeneration? That would explain a few things, at least, because you barely do better than even with a Vampiric weapon on health. Vampiric is not health *gain* per hit, it's health *stolen* per hit. A Vampiric 3 Sword will deal an additional 3 armor ignoring, irresistable damage with every single hit, plus it gives you a bit of health on the side. It makes Sundering 10% completely obsolete. Hell, it makes Sundering 100%, if it existed, completely obsolete.

sundering and furious are the least useful upgrades for hilts. Use a zealous or a 3/1 vampiric for best effect.
