Dyeing odd items
Anyone know what happens when you dye a shadow shield and eternal shield, or storm bow?
Is it the same thing that happens to a chaos axe? I don't feel like wasting dyes to try. |

I think there have been test with Storm Bows and the Dye is barely noticable. I think black dye makes it a little darker.
Eternal Shield, Ive dyed mine purple and the icons looks very purple but then when its equipped it looks the same Shadow shield I ve never tried |

You can dye a shadow shield, but it changes very little.
Made mine silver so the eyes are a bit brighter |

Dye can be a very big waste of gold:
- Orange looks good on your 'I' screen, but is brown in-game (just as if it was never dyed). - Red is dark pink when applied to brown armor - Green is good and shows up on armor - Purple shows up on armor well also - Blue shows up well - Yellow is just like Orange - crap on armor that is brown-based. Mix and match. Test and waste gold. Find your combo. I have never dyed a weapon. |

You might also notice that dye remover actually has an effect on some armor as it comes (ie. undyed armor); so that's something to experiment with too.

I'm not sure if it will make a difference with everything, but you might want to try using dye remover before adding any colors. |

Is it possible to dye El heapieces? IE the Flaming Eye? I am using a Fire/Earth setup, and have a nice Flaming Eye that gives +2 to Fire Magics, but the suit of armor I wear was built around a blue theme. If I use a blue dye on the Eye, will it turn into a blue flaming object?
