The reason for asking is after you ascended regular white items sell for 50 gold each and up. It makes it easier to make money. Also you should check the warrior collector in the desert for its stats for warrior. For monk the collector set was better than anything available until draknor's.
FYI if you are at kryta you still have half the map to discover Last edited by rotor; Jul 06, 2005 at 02:56 PM // 14:56.. |

sounds to me like you are a n00b rusher. stop thinking about getting XP and play the damn game goto Photics.com get their guides on doing the bonus's.. do all them. all these hints and tips people are giving they have learnt through playing it.. if you dont play the game properly, and learn each skill and learn builds then you could have the most experience points in the world... you will still be a n00b rusher. sorry to be blunt. At risk of this turning into a flame forum. Yes, I probably am a noob rusher if that's what you would like to call it. I just play this with my brothers for fun. Not trying to do PvP or anything like that. We just live in separate states and like to get on a few times a week to play. Just trying to get my level up so I can have more fun bashing things!!

A rusher will try to get to the end as fast as possible.. this guy is taking is time and tries to be lvl 20 before the desert ! I don't consider that as rushing... Some of my guildmate went from ascallon city to droknar's to get there armor.. that is rushing !
the forum is a place to ask questions, and it's what he did, and I'm glad to answer, if you find that thread useless, just don't read it. By the way.. sorry to sound angry or .. rude or anything else.. I didn't want it.. but I'm not native-english and even if I do my best, I don't sound as I feel everytime.. |

Isn't it a little much to try to use BOTH earth AND air for your character build? Why did you select this particular set up. Probably inexperience speaking but why split your points between TWO magic sets? |

You could use Earthquake instead of Whirlwind, to have one less attribute (unless you just put stuff in air, becaus it couldn't go anywhere else). |

STILL no one has given any really good locations of enemies easy to kill for a level 17 with my build to gain XP. Like I said earlier, the mergolyles outside of Gates of Kryta were and are easy to kill but since they are level 12 they don't give many XP anymore. Any good places to solo farm for XP where I won't get killed after about 2 monsters??? Thanks.

The quick answer: there aren't too many outstanding places to "farm" for XP. "Grind" would be a more accurate term, since farming usually deals with drops and loot. At any rate, good XP is had MUCH quicker, faster, and in a more fun manner by simply playing through the missions and quests. Finishing a quick mission and getting a good 1k handed to you at the end, along with the XP gained from having to kill the mobs to complete it in the first place, is a lot more rewarding than smashing mobs endlessly.
Don't worry about your level. You'll find that your level is always about what it needs to be, whereever you find yourself, if you simply do all the available quests and missions. I'd never found myself feeling as if I was somehow missing out on content or fun because I wasn't high enough a level-- whatever was too high for me was somewhere on the map that I hadn't gotten to anyway. |
