im using these two weapons:

1.

and

2.

why is it that i do more damage using weapon #2?? im not enchanted, im not hexed, i dont even have any frickin symbol on the upper left corner of my screen! and their both customized!

i tested this mostly on mergoyle wavebreakers... but i also did a little test on other monsters.

using weapon #1, im doing roughly 20-40 damage per hit... but when i use weapon #2, im doing 40-71 damage per hit! how is a 70 damage possible on a weapon that says 16-28? is that a critical or what? if it is, then why do i keep doing critical hits using weapon #2 and not with #1? and even if you disregard the criticals, why is my minimum damage with weapon #2 equivalent to the maximum damage of weapon #1?

am i missing something here!??

The first hammer has a high requirement, are you sure you hammer mastery is level 13, if not that will explain the big drop in damage.

Are u sure u've put at least 13 points on hammer mastery?

If you do not meet the requirements of a weapon (13 hammer mastery on weapon #1) then you will not get the full dmg potential out of that weapon.

That's all to do with how high your character's level is, and how high your hammer mastery attribute is. The higher they are, the more damage you do on top of your weapon's base damage.

I don't think I need to say why you may be doing more damage with the second weapon, though. We seem to have an echo in here

holy sh*t.

i only had 10 hammer mastery when i tried it out.

i thought you wouldnt be able to equip the weapon if you didnt meet the requirements...

sheesh. now i feel stupid.

oh well, you learn something everyday.

ya the req on that first hammer will kill u cause its so high
