I think I have decided what proffesions to go for, this is my first character :)
[B]xxx[B/B] ok I think im going to be an elementilist as my main and a mesmer as my secondary, Ive heard that these to go together well, because you can deal amazing damage, and prevent people from harming you, like stop a warrior from reaching you, inturrputing peoples spells, and I just wanted to know what people think of this?

Sounds good to me. You have the energy reserve going for you and plenty of dmg dealing magic. Can't go wrong. It ultimately depends on how you set up your skills. Play around and see what works and what doesn't. It's fun that way.

Welcome to Guild Wars!
I enjoy playing my E/Me. Lots of Fire power and the ability to be annoying. What more could anyone ask for. |

Typically people will do E/Me in order to a) deal high damage and b) keep thier energy supplies up.
while mesmers are great for interrupting, stopping, and just plain damage (mesmer damage isnt affected by conditions or armor), they are also effective at stealing energy from opponents. Fire/Inspiration builds are for that. But, you need to decide for yourself what build is best =P I personally enjoy my primary Mesmer much more than my elem. |
