There's quite alot to see and do in Pre Searing, my Ranger has basically been in there for about a month and a half now (Also, I'm taking him slow).
Just recreate your character, and explore Pre Searing alot. There's nothing overly dangerous in Pre, unless you go over the Wall. And there's no DP in Pre, so you dont have to worry about that. |

Every character you make starts in Pre-Searing.
The pre-searing section is actually quite large. I'd give a link to the area, but it's down for now For now, here's a seperate link that lists all the presearing quests, where to find them, and how to do them, and then some. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...=searing+guide Enjoy~ [EDIT] DP is Death Penalty. Everytime you die, you recieve a -15% penalty to your health and energy. The max being -60%. |

Death Penalty
Pre Sear is the most wonderful area in GW, those roads across the wall can only match up to Majesties Rest. And of course you have the catacombs which are so fun to explore. |

Yes and no. There is good equipment there, but not to the level of weapons in Post. There are very rare drops that give high power weapons, but you only usually will get them fighting Charr.

Fighting the Charr boss and talking to Prince Rurik is part of the Academy. There's no way you can bypass the Academy. There's also a PvP part before fighting that Charr boss, but on some occasions that part would be skipped. So, basically, you'd been through Academy but you weren't aware of it.
I'd say create a new character and enjoy that part of the game. It's also a good place to practice the new characters and learn more about the basics. |
