Distracting Shot
Would Distracting shot stilll be usefull or purposefull with no expertise? I dont want to be spread to thin. This is the only expertise skill I like. Thanks.

Even with a decent expertise, distracting shot won't do much damage, its purpose is not to do damage but to interupt. One of the best interupts in the game.
If you are a ranger, expertise is key for saving you energy, this makes a huge difference in the long run, as ranger's cant really be effective without the constant use of skills; it is probably the best primary attribute in the game. |

Yeah a Ranger without expertise is like a dud of a character for that class. An especially for those that spirit spam, they don't require as much energy as everyone else to use their skills with a high expertise.

I've used Distracting Shot with my Necro/Ranger to stop Shivverpeak Beastmasters stomping. The Ranger's skills like this can be useful without needing to invest in them, leaving points to go into my main profession.

Does distracting shot work against warrior attack skills? I keep trying to use it against the Ettin's Power Attack and it's definitely not disabling them for 20 seconds.
Is this just a timing issue? |
