Whats the point for monks to use them?

The spell Protective Bond: you only take 5% damage from attacks. 5% of 55 is much lower than 5%of 500.

That's the part I can't wrap my mind around. 5% is 5%, no matter how much health you have, you'll lose 5% of it. Does it matter if thats 2-5 health or 50 health in the end?

then u put 2 skills on that give 4 regen and 2 regen = 6 regen something like 10health a sec not quit sure so yea less health less dmg same regen u dont die bascily..
