Poison Sword Hilt Question - Guild Wars Forums

Hello,
What is the point in having a "Poison Sword Hilt" If there is no skill that poisons?

If there is, please post it here !

( The Sword is: Poisoner's Spatha of Fortitude )
Also, if you add another sword hilt to remove "Poisoner's" and replace with "Sundering"?

It only has a use if you bring a ranger secondary class and use the skill Apply Poison. As far as i know it works on normal weapons too.

Apply Poisong says it applies Poison effect to all Attacks, with no mention of weapon type used. With a sword you could quickly work through multiple mobs to poison each of them.

if you apply a Sundering mod to it.. it will replace/overwrite your Poisoner's mod on the sword.

and as stated, the purpose of the poisoner's mod is if you have a ranger secondary/primary and use apply poison... well, any skill that adds poison damage to your main attack/weapon will be effected by this mod.
