You can take a screenshot by pressing the 'Print Screen' button (To the right of you F1-F12 keys).
Also before taking a screenshot, you can remove the HUD (Health, Radar, etc.) by press Ctrl + Shift + H. When a screenshot is taken, it is stored where you installed Guild Wars. So the default location would be 'C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Screens' The rest I'll leave to somebody else to better explain. |

just to mention, you dont need to remove the HUD to take HUDless screenshots, just hold shift and press print screen.

You can use the default Windows XP program, Paint. You can also download demo versions of Paintshop Pro or Photoshop ( http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp or http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...=1047024307383 ).
For Paint, go into start --> all programs --> accessories --> Paint Then use the "open" command and direct it to C:\Program Files\Guild Wars>Screens (change the drive letter if it's not on C:\) and click the picture you want it to open. Then you can use the editing tools to reduce size, crop, etc. Be sure that when you save it, you save it as either a JPEG or GIF file...BMP files are HUGE and most free picture hosting sites don't accept them. For hosting and linking your pictures: http://www.imageshack.com http://www.imagecave.com Try those. To post a picture, type the following without spaces: [ img ] the URL of the image's online site [ /img ] That should do it. |
