how can i get rid of my pet? i know some animal collecter will take him, but where is he???

Tamers.

I don't know all of their locations but here are two that I know of:
Pre-searing - Next to Ranger Nente in Regent Valley
Post-searing - Right next to the stairs outside of Ascalon City

Also, if you don't bring Charm Animal along with you the pet would not show up. Once you equipt it the pet will be with you (unless you don't have one).
