Sorrow's Furnace - no download???
Hi,
I just reloaded my GW last night after several months away from it. I was expecting to download a 40mb+ patch to bring the sorrow's furnace upgrade to my game. I downloaded like 200kb and then it logged me in. Is there no large download for the patch? How the heck does my game have all the content if it never did any major downloading? |

It downloads when you go to the new areas; i.e. when you're doing any of the new Titans quests or when you head towards Grenth's Footprint. Otherwise, how would 56k people play if they had 40mb downloads?

Those 200k are the last few updates and some universal changes. You only download an area when I is the first time you arrive or when there're updates specific to that area. Any BTW, you're right. Your game doesn't have all the contents unless you've explored every area. |

Refer to this topic for download sizes. Like everything else in this game, only downloads what you need when you need it, so gone are the days of downloading large patch files containing large amounts of content you may never actually use (because you don't go to location, or location gets further superceding updates later on before you get there).
