For PvP Characters, the wolf is your one and only pet. So might as well learn to love it now or just make a PvE and choose your pet

There are NPCs that'll remove your pet permanently for you. I know there is one somewhere near Ascalon city (really thinking one of the NPCs just outside of town). Someone probably knows the exact locations tho.

His name is Jarrel the Tamer, and I believe you should be able to see him as soon as you walk out of Ascalon City if you use the alt button.

So yes, in PvE, Charm Animal gets you a pet, and forevermore, will supply you that pet (if you equip it in your skillbar). The only way to lose that pet EVER, is the Tamer. And only after that can you charm a different pet. |
