Getting items with +energy is the only way to increase it.

Basic energy for each class (Please correct me if I am wrong)
Warrior: 20 Ranger: 25 Necromancer, Mesmer & Monk : 30 Elementalist: 30+3xevery 1 point in energy storage attribute Then only way you could possibly raise the bar is using energy items and/or getting armor that raises you energy total. Since you are a Ranger though and usually use bows it's not very conventient to switch to items other than bows. However: You are also a warrior, you *can* equip in your shield hand a Focus item that gives you+12 and/or more while wielding a sword/axe/hammer but as I said Ranger's are better with bows. Tip: Put point in Expertise, it lowers the cost of your Ranger skills by 4% for every point you put in. (Maximum you can have in this is 16 -64% on all your skill costs) |

As a ranger, you can use Druids Armor, it gives energy bonus.

Chobby, the energy numbers dont change in skill descriptions, but they are in fact lower. Just try it out ingame, you will use less energy on ranger skills. |

Yeah, I thought that too, until I realised one of my spells that costs 10 energy now only costs 7, yet it says the same :P
