What to do about scammers.
Just one question. When you get scammed, is it really worth reporting it to Anet or not. Do they have certain criteria on what is a bad enough offense.
See, I rarely do runs, in fact I have only ever done them for guildies, or friends, and for free, but today, I saw someone pledging 1k for a short run, so I did it, and they immediately cancelled the trade window, ignored me to no surprise, and then proceeded to use the point, and laugh emotes. I have screens of all of this, and would like to know if this is likely to be worth reporting. I have never scammed anyone ever, and this type of sheeit pisses me off to no end. Scammers should all die of gonorrhea, and rot in HELL! |

If you have screens, send them to ANet. You will never know if the person gets some sort of penalty or not but why not? You KNOW they will get away with it if you DON'T send them in.

How do we send stuff to Anet is my question. Ive had some occasions of massive racism or scamming that NEEDED to be reported but the way to do so isn't entirely clear
Thats one thing I miss EQ (sorta) although we hardly ever got an answer it was easy to petition someone in charge to get stuff taken care of. |

go to www.guildwars.com and go to "support".
"ask a question", and specify it as a violation report. i did this to a guy who was praising hitler at topk... but i dunno if he had his account cancelled... |

take screen pic and send it to ANET.
Even if you dont have screen pic, note time, town and district, players name and what was said and they can look it up from there. |

Ditto with the above ^
Sorry you got scammed, send what you have to Anet, learn from it and always ask to pay mid way through the run or after. A good runner won???t ask for it up front. I have paid 1/2 up front before and came out ok but the "risk" should be on the runner for getting scammed and not the "customer". |
