my necro never has enough skill points. i want to be able to switch seamlessly between Blood (for UW and FoW); Curses (for PvP and when i feel like it) and Death (for the sheer hell of pissing the warriors off with my minion armies) My first char was a necro. she was before the BiP thing. she got into UW 3 times (one of those was on her own to see what the tribute did :P). now i want to run around SF with an army beyond count. |

I love my Necro...He was my first character I made and I beat the game with him. then moved onto a W/Mo (yea I know) And I found him to be very boring...then I went to a invici-monk which i played alot for a while but that also got boring. Now im back to my Necro and playing with secondary professions and having a blast doing GvG, PvP and Tombs.

Necros are being much more in demand in the Tombs; every group seems to want someone to take care of corpses (use them to their advantage and more importantly deny their opponents the opportunity to use them).
What's nice with the Necro is that it's a class that's meant to play along with its secondary. And water is not worse than any other skill line; it's just harder to use right :P Last edited by Guizzy; Sep 29, 2005 at 04:41 PM // 16:41.. |

sleepy samurai - "It is all about trends. Soon arenanet will nerf the necro and move on."
So true, made me laugh Guizzy - "And water is not worse than any other skill line; it's just harder to use right :P" I agree :P The slowing effect is underestimated. |

It's about unlocks and repeat characters, yeah.
I did E/ME, W/R, and now N/MO with a little rethink rework and remake in between. With only 4 slots its a challenge to try and nab all skills/unlocks and keep a PvP - you basically can't have a single class repeat. I've put in 400+ hrs and still it'd be too costly to have my original manage to clear secondarys w/o the quests and skill pt help there for example. Well less skill points now and much more every skill would be a plat. My n/mo is running with morgriffs staff - gotta like base 80 AL on a caster |

I'm enjoying the necro thing... made one as my third character and have been able to solo a lot more than before. Way back in the first or second beta I was playing a necro and enjoyed it, but for some reason didn't try it when the official release happened.
