Platemail Vs. Knight Armors
Hey guys,
i was just wandering if your making a new warrior, what would you pick between those two? Platemail Set:- +85Armor +10Armor [vs Phys Dmg] Knight Set:- +80Armor +10Armor [vs Phys Dmg] Reduced damage from attacks would you pick the +5Armor or "Reduced damage"? another thing.. is it true that if you only have one part of knight armor it still gives you the full effect of "Reduced damage" as if you have full parts? if no, then how much "Reduced damage" is it per part? |

I pick knights for the main 2 facts:
1. I like the way it looks on my fem warrior 2. The dr stacks with an absorb rune added on it, the platemail does not have that ability. Not sure what the actual AL is between the two after runes but it mainly just comes down to personal choice. Some people do go full platemail and just add the knights boots. |

Glad's chest, legs, and gaunts (or stonefists if you're hammer) along with your +1 to attribute helm, and knight's boots remains the best combination.
To answer your other quesiton... yes, you only need one piece of knight's armor to get the global damage reduction bonus of -2. |

Also, a Knight's helm didn't give damage reduction, last time I checked. So you'd get Tactics, which you don't really need in high levels generally. Plate with Knight's Boots usually is most common; you can go with Knight's Gloves if you aren't ever going to use Stonefist Guantlets. |
