Expertise break points
I have done a couple searches, and the expertise guide is not available anymore.
Just wondering if the break points are rounded down or up for energy percentages. If you have 5 energy skills and have a 10 in expertise it makes them 3, will having 11 in it make any difference, or even 13, where does it make it worth 2 or does it? 13 would make it 2.4 so it that 2 or 3? And if so will 16 make it 1 (1.8 rounded down)? I have tried testing it, but I still have a 2 pips of energy so hard to tell how much I am using as I get a regen and cannot differentiate. Since point distribution for rangers is far more important than the other classes, I would just like to know for sure. That extra point in another area might be more adventageous, especially if it is "wasted" in expertise. Since the 1 second or 1 extra damage you gain isn't usually worth it, basically it is for energy reserves. I am sure this has been covered somewhere but I simply cannot find it. I know that with some skills and protections it does round down, just not sure if it does with rangers, especially with all the updates they are doing to "balance" |

NVM---
I did it myself, for anyone looking that might do a search... Top number is base energy, column is energy cost at that attribute level Example: with 11 in expertise a 25 energy spell (dust trap basically) costs 14 energy to cast. 5 10 15 25 Attribute 11 3 6 8 14 Attribute 12 3 5 8 13 Attribute 13 2 5 7 12 Attribute 14 2 4 7 11 Attribute 15 2 4 6 10 Attribute 16 2 4 5 9 I am sure this is old news to most, but I coouldn't find it, and I did find out that it will not round down at 1.8. Well that doesn't look good. |
