Newbie Question?
sry guys but i have to ask.....what if i dun meet the req of an item?? for example: a smiting rod that req 11 smiting and i dun have the enough skill pts, what will happen? its just cant make the max dmg by it or i cant even enjoy the benefits from the mods?? lets say improves skill recharge.....??

if you dont meet the req, you do considerably less dmg with it...not sure if the mods are affected though, but i dont think so

hmm..like for ankhs,you dont get the main +12nrg if u dont meet the reqs but you do get the +15nrg -1pip,thats what happend to me when i was using one.

with swords, axes, bows you do as much dmg as a starter weapon of that type; with your skill inputs (that means you'll do some extra dmg from strength or skills or whatever), but all of the weapons base mods will be lowered in effect. for rods you dont gain the full base energy bonus, for shields you do not get the full armor bonus (you do get full life, however), etc.
on the other end of the line, when your skill lvls are higher than the swords req you hvae a higher chance to deal criticals, and past lvl 12 you start getting an inherent damage bonus starting at about 5-7%, with diminishing returns.. |
