Major Lag After Moving
I have been experiencing major lag after I have recently moved from Central Michigan to Northeast Ohio. In both locations I have a 4Mbit cable connection and have run several speed and lost packet tests trying to figure if the connection is to blame. Both connections are comparable in speed and reliability.
My question is can you change which data center you are connecting to so that when you move you can always connect to the fastest server? Have any laptop users experienced this while traveling? Last edited by SantaClause; Oct 06, 2005 at 03:23 AM // 03:23.. |

I'm not sure where the servers are of GW but you might've moved to a place where the GW-server is a bit farther away than you lived before.
Second check your configurations from your modem / router and ofcourse your computer itself. You can also try asking your current Internet Service Provider. |
