Chaos Axe damage, does is ignore armor? - Guild Wars Forums

I know that Chaos, Holy and Shadow damage ignore armor, but does a Chaos Axe also ignore armor???

No it doesnt deal Chaos damage, its just the name of the Axe.

Chaos axes have slashing damage so they work like any other axe.

Also, the 3 types of damage you listed, dont ignore armor.

Only spells ignore armor, the actual damage type doesnt.

Use a weapon with any of those damages, and compare it to an elemental weapon of the same stats, you'll get roughly the same number.

The only things those 3 things ignore are elemental protection. Since they arent elemental damage.
