Hi. I'm fairly new to Guild Wars (not that new, but I'm fairly no0bish at it seeing as it is also my first MMORPG [well that's basically what it is anywayI think]).

I was just wondering, what are some good ways to make money? Share your ideas here.

Also, please don't just come on and say 'solo the UW with a monk,' say the build and armour etc unless of course you are afraid of it getting nerfed, which is fair enough really.

Also, what are some ways of getting money that dont involve getting, say, 1.5k armour and a superior rune on every piece etc etc etc?

I don't know where you have been reading. UW soloing's past its prime, 1.5k armor is standard, superior runes for everything would only be useful to a solo monk and would be very stupid otherwise.

I suggest you poke around this forum more and look for farming tips, as I know there have been plenty enough threads about it in the past few weeks.

A great way of making money is by fighting Charr for Charr hides and then trading them to the collecter in post searing Ascalon City. 4 of them for 1 fur square whichy you can usually sell to the rare material trader for 250g each.
