FoW and UW-Henchmen possible? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok, we all know henchmen can't go into the FoW or UW, but I recently noticed this, when you try to enter, the guy says that the henchies aren't "ascended", I do believe he says that from the last time I checked. Ok so if your really crazy, could you run all your henchies from Camp Rankor TO ToA. That is a crazy ass run, but it is possible I believe? If so, would this make henchmen available for UW/FoW?

I doubt it but I might try it this weekend or check back here occcasionally just to see.

Henchmen were never allowed there. There was a change a while ago that allows only ascended players in, but I believe that henchmen are still excluded no matter where you run them from.

Henchmen were allowed at one time to enter FoW/Uw but were changed after one of the patches. Later the ascension requirment was added.

Only way to get to ToA is via ascending -> Glint Mission area (walk out side, don't take mission) or do a PvP character.

That is incorrect as you can walk to ToA way before your ascended. ToA is located in the Kryta region - take a walk from Bergen Hot Springs and head east and you'll come across ToA.

Are you talking about ToA (Temple of the Ages) or ToPK (Tomb of the Primevil Kings)?

No even if u take the henchies from rankor as soon as u walk in to TOA the henchies turn into the TOA henchies.

I know of a statue of Grenth in southern Lornar's Pass. Is there one in Dreadnought's?

I've done this. It doesn't work. You lose all the henchmen once you're in UW or FoW.

I made a thread about it a while back concerning this.

A while back I attempted to travel from rankor all the way north to beacons perch, I was with one friend, and 6 henchmen. We found the statue, kneeled, and paid a platinum (not knowing what it did, this was before I know what FoW or UW was all about). Then just me and my friend were in UW, and quickly got slaughtered by aatxes.

The level 20 henchies you pick up in Camp Rankor disappears, completely, when you enter Beacon's Perch. I tried it, thought it would be fun to wander N. Shiverpeaks with a bunch of level 20 henchies, so I fought my way over there. *poof* gone

It was kind of funny 'cause I did get to keep all 7 henchies (8 in the party total) when entering Sanctum Cay after fighting from ToA. I did the mission with all 7, it was kind of cool.

Well, I went up and tried to access UW via the statue a couple maps north of Snake Dance last week. It's a no go.
