+5 energy bow.
It just struck me that the crappy no-req longbow I keep to pull with, has +5 energy. I know that that is very rare for other weapons, is it more common for bows?
I'm not sure where I picked up this bow, could be in pre-searing even, but probably around Ascalon in post-searing. |

I'm pretty sure is a pre searing quest reward. Could be wrong though of course.

i just did that quest and it seems they changed taht bow to just another crappy longbow WITHOUT the energy bonus (
Now it's a 7-10 longbow of fortitude with +10 health and +15% dmg while health is above 50%... |

Ooh, pwnage. My Monk has one still. And FYI, although it's called a "Longbow", like every other Pre-Sear weapon its name is wrong. It's a Halfmoon.

WHY are the presearing weapon names all messed up?
The most common is obviously Long Sword aka fake crystalline.... |

I'm kinda lost here.
Why would anyone want to pay 200k for that? Please explain. |

I believe MCS (when he used to be here...) called it Super Newb Syndrome.
People believe because they are a ranger, they need a bow. Little do they realize a staff and an offhand will get much more energy for trapping and whatnot. I do say trapping, because there is no way you would use a +5 energy 1-2 damage bow for saving energy on skills... |

There's a collector who offers a +5 energy wand for charr carvings. And as for off-hands, I doubt I need to go into that. Maybe there's some other reason for this? |

Hunters quest... Yeah, that's possible. I did that just before going into post-searing.
200K? So the crappy bow I only use to pull with is actually my most expensive weapon? LOL! Longbow vs half-moon: yeah, I've noticed it looks different. |

Yeah, I think it only acts like a Halfmoon also in terms of refire and range. Dunno who wants to pay 200k for this though.
