It seems like every town I enter, people are spamming up the channel wanting to either buy or sell un-id items. Why do people want to buy them, I mean why not go buy one that is already Id-ed?

when you ID an item it unlocks it for PvP only characters...

Also, you might get a bargain... If you get the right item, it could be worth 100k... some people enjoy the gambling of it...

Benefit is that the one who identifies, unlocks the weapon add-on or rune for PvP characters, so that he/her is not obliged to pay Baltha for unlocking..
