Sorry that was really badly worded, i know that pure dyes that are dropped are the normal colours, and i know you have to mix to make certain colours, but i mean can you mix dyes together so the label says "Gold Dye" or "Ruby Dye" rather than just "Mixed Dye"
Please don't think, just because I worded the question badly, I have no experience in the game, it was just a question about getting different labeled dyes... Last edited by Moth-Features; Nov 01, 2005 at 02:41 AM // 02:41.. |

No, it doesn't do that. It says 'mixed'. Just to do an experiment yourself mix a couple and see. I've mixed a lot of dyes and never had the result turn out to be labeled anything but 'mixed'.

Dont forget dyes will color different armors differently.
Each professions armor, will take on a different color. So anyone hawking "pink" dye may not color your armor "pink" |

Red+Yellow makes ruby, or a lighter red. Go with that.

Also...
From experimenting here, I have found a couple of comboes:
Purple+Yellow = A Deep rich gold on leatherish armor <yes, it works, my w/r is decked out in deep gold armor> Orange + Purple = A deep maroon looking for those to go a shade of red. Green + Blue = Makes a teal. Red + Green = A rich chocolate brown Silver + Blue = a light Teal Silver + Purple = a slightly less coloful shade of Purple <great for those who don't want deep purple armor, just a ting of purple>. Silver + Red = a slightly less colorful shade of Red <a lighter version of the rich chocolate brown you get by mixing red dye+ green dye> There is also a lot more I have, but those are just some. And yes, it's always "Mixed" and never given a name. Hope some of these colors help ya --The Shim |
