But, with high armor... most attacks deal hardly any damage, and with knights... That's 5 damage per hit knocked off. Crappy sword warriors will deal zero damage per hit, bows without extra damage buffs/preperations/spirits will do near to nothing. Extra damage hitters, such as kindle arrows, it effects that, along with the arrow damage. Damage spells such as empathy, or symbol of wrath which deal slightly less damage in waves... are effected greatly.

Not to say that it's worth that much more then a major rune, but yes... it is effective.

Rarity and value - there is no drawback to it, and a limited supply. Demand is high, supply is low, price goes up. If there weren't a price cap it'd be higher.

I only seen Superior Rune Absorption drop once near SF! And wasn't it prices at 80k before the patch hits than it sky rocketed to 100k?

So if something hits you for 3 damage, you will take 0?

Yes, you'd take 0 damage with superior Ab on.

Seeing as bows that do 15-27 deal 145 to level 3 Devourers, will the Ab Rune go over its "limit" and decrease damage more than 3?

I thought that absorbs are more effective on chest plates? I.e. they reduce damage from spells that way.

Right wrong?

Wrong. Superior absorption is global, so it doesn't matter where you put it.

Odd, I found one in there too. I about died and convulsed, I needed cash hard.
I did the happy dance for 5 minutes. =)

Odd we'd find em in the same spot, maybe it says something?
